I uninstalled my Trial SQL Navigator software and install the commercial SQL Navigator. When I launched SQL Navigator, I was never prompted for my new license key, instead I got the following message:
"Trial Copy will expire in X days"
WORKAROUND 1:
1. In SQL Navigator, go to 'Tools | Product Authorization'
2. Enter in your new key and site message
WORKAROUND 2:
1. Close out of SQL Navigator (very important)
2. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Quest Software\SQL Navigator
3. Re-name the QSAuthorize12.key to QSAuthorize12.key_OLD
4. Re-launch SQL Navigator and you should be prompted to register with your new key
