Running an install of SQL Nav 6.1 with only SQL Nav selected gave the error:
The installation of component SQL Navigator_Oracle has failed.
Products affected by this failure are;
SQL Navigator for Oracle
1618
The installation will now abort
Likely a window security or rights issue.
WORKAROUND 1:
Please make sure you have all the necessary rights to install a software on your system. Also check the security of your Windows environment to make sure that rights settings or virus scans are not preventing the installation.
WORKAROUND 2:
Try to extract the MSI installer and install using it. The MSI can be extracted using the following command
<path to the installer> /extract
e.g. C:\>"SQL Navigator for Oracle 6.1.1 Commercial.exe" /extract
