How to: work with deleted GPOs from GPMC that are still in GPOAdmin -
Description
In GPMC a GPO is deleted which results in the GPO in GPOAdmin showing as Non compliant - Deleted, What is the best way to deal with this GPO? -
Resolution
You Can either restore the GPO if it was accidently deleted, by right clicking on the GPO and selecting Restore
or
You can right click the GPO and select Unregister, Unregister will remove the item from the console. It's backups and history will remain.
