How to eliminate multiple Oracle alert log alarms for Oracle agents in Foglight 5.6.4 or higher?
Go to the Database dashboard | Agent Administration | Alert log > disable a Filter Name under the Match List tab. Foglight looks at this list as well.
Foglight goes through all the keywords from the Alert log dashboard depending on the keywords that are enabled. Foglight compares each keyword against the Oracle alarm.
This is by Foglight console design.
Also, if the same Alarm keeps on reoccuring on the Oracle log and on Foglight console, my recommendation to acknowledged the alarm under the Alarm dashboard so Foglight console knows that you are aware of the alarm.
The user can also adjust the Alarm Filter [Set] option by reducing the Maximum results to 100 under the Administration | Alarm dashboard.
