How to manually uninstall ControlPoint (4272770)

When attempting to remove ControlPoint through the executable file found in the install package, the WAP and solutions in Central Administration are not always removed.

1. Open Central Administration > Application Management > Manage web applications.
2. Select the ControlPoint WAP, click the Delete button, then select "Yes" to both questions.

   

3. Navigate to System Settings > Manage farm solutions.
4. Retract and remove axcelerfeatures.wsp, controlpointhelpfeature.wsp and metalogixproducts.wsp.

   Note: Whenever a solution is retracted, all application pools in IIS Manager will recycle.
