How to manage the ControlPoint's farm list (4272654)

If you have a multi-farm installation of ControlPoint and have permissions to manage the ControlPoint farm list, you can:

• edit one of the following attributes:
  • a farm's name, and/or
  • the URL used when switching farms from the ControlPoint application header
• delete farms that you have decommissioned or no longer manage through ControlPoint

Note: When you choose the delete a farm, you can also choose whether or not to delete farm-related data (e.g. log files and cached data).

1. From the Manage ControlPoint panel, choose Manage Farm List.

   

2. On the Manage Farm List window, you may register, edit or delete a selected farm. Refer to the information below to determine the appropriate action to take:
    

   Action	Description
   Register	Allows linking the selected farm to a Metalogix Sensitive Content Manager installation Note: This requires a separate license
   Edit	Allows changing the selected farm's name and/or URL
   Delete	Allows deleting the selected farm

Changes will be visible the next time the browser is refreshed.
