Pros Cons Shared xcAdmin database All farms will be displayed in the Hierarchy of the ControlPoint application. All service accounts will require permissions to the SQL server/instance where the xcAdmin database is located. You may switch between farms by using the Available Farms dropdown on the ControlPoint application. Separate xcAdmin database Each farm is compartmentalized and can be upgraded separately. Having x number of xcAdmin databases will use more storage than a single shared database. Issues with one farm or xcAdmin database will not affect the others. You have to access each farm through its own URL rather than using the Available Farms dropdown.
