Re-enable popup notification in Waiting Events tab in the Activity section -
Description
On the Waiting Events tab in the Activity section, by default a notification pops up when the currently highlighted Users Waiting Now session is no longer active in the database saying something about how the session is no longer active. I inadvertently said to not show this in the future. However, it is limiting my ability to at least get a glimpse of what the session was doing before it completed. Is there a way to disable that selection so that the popup is once again displayed? Will re-installing the product help?

If a session is no longer waiting, it is going to disappear from the lower grid in "Waiting Events" ... there is no option in Spotlight to prevent that.
To display All sessions in TopSessions, rather than just the active ones, go to Top Sessions, right-click in the grid, select "Top Sessions Options" and un-check the box "Display only active sessions".Note that that option is stored separately against each database, so make sure you do it for the database(s) of interest.You can navigate to TopSessions from Waiting Events by double-clicking on the session that is waiting: this will now show in TopSessions, even though the session may not be active. Once again, the appearance or otherwise of the dialog (with the Don't Show Me Again option) is not really relevant to the experience, which is why uninstalling and re-installing is not going to change anything.If the session in question has "moved on" and is now executing different SQL, you might be able to view other SQL (in open cursors) by going to the "Session SQL" tab in the session sub-drilldown of TopSessions.
