Cannot insert license key: "The necessary MySQL Files are not installed."
Description

After installing Toad for DB2 5.0 and trying to open it, Toad pops-up a window requesting for the Authorization Key and Site Message, despite that the license key and site message are typed correctly, user is not able to click the "OK" button and gets a message saying:

"The necessary MySQL Files are not installed."
Resolution

Remove Toad for DB2 5.0 and install Toad for DB2 5.6 or newer.
Additional Information

Starting from Toad for DB2 6.0, an IBM DB2 Client is no longer included or shipped with the Toad installation file. A full DB2 Client needs to be properly installed and licensed before trying to work with Toad.
