Error: "A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated"
Description

When attempting to create a subscription or send send an email via subscriptions user may receive the following error:
"A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated"
Cause

This message can mean that the security settings of Internet Explorer are set to high or the Spotlight on Messaging Reports website has not been added to the "Trusted sites"
or
A local policy is preventing storage of credentials.
Resolution

Resolution 1
Open Internet Explorer
Tools - Internet Options - Security Tab
Trusted Sites - Add - http://<<SERVERNAME>>/SpotlightOnMessaging/WebReport.asp where SERVERNAME = Server where Messagestats web reports are installed.

Resolution 2
To Check the local policies on the Messagestats server and insure that the "Network access: Do not allow storage of passwords and credentials for network authentication" is not enabled.
1. Click Start | Administrative Tools | Local Security Policy.
2. Expand "Local Policies" and Select "Security Options"
3. In the details pane verify that "Network access: Do not allow storage of passwords and credentials for network authentication" is set to Disabled.

Note: If the policy cannot be changed you will have to contact your Group Policy administrator to determine what GPO is affecting the server and have them change the setting.
