Shares\files change ownership after migration from one directory to another (on the same or different NAS/SAN device).

On the General Options I tab “Don’t copy Permissions (Copy data only)” is checked:
If you are copying objects without the original permissions, then the objects that are copied will assume the default permission of the destination device. NAS/SAN devices are configured to modify the ownership information to reflect its local administrator account. Copying permissions along with the objects will maintain the original ownership. However, if you don’t want to copy the permissions Security Explorer can be used to modify ownership and DACL information once the data migration is complete.
