Export Dataset exports rows into one single column in the Excel File. -
Description
I am doing an Export Dataset from the Data Grid to an Excel file. I have multiple columns and many rows but all the rows when exported to Excel file shows up in one column.
So for example when I open my Excel File I might see something like the following data all in Column A of the Excel spread sheet.
EMPLOYEE_ID,FIRST_NAME,LAST_NAME,EMAIL,PHONE_NUMBER,HIRE_DATE,JOB_ID,SALARY,COMMISSION_PCT,MANAGER_ID,DEPARTMENT_ID
198,Donald,OConnell,DOCONNEL,650.507.9833,06/21/1999,SH_CLERK,2600,,124,50
199,Douglas,Grant,DGRANT,650.507.9844,01/13/2000,SH_CLERK,2600,,124,50

Resolution
In Export Dataset window make sure you do not have 'Delimited Text' selected in the Export Format drop down menu. Please select 'Excel File.'
