Can one make User Defined formatting specifics in the Formatter’s Options Sample Window?
The example window simply reflects the actual settings by formatting some sample code according to settings selected.
When modifying the sample code text, the user will just change the content (text).
However, the next time the lower-right Format button is pressed, the sample will get re-formatted per the options settings in the right hand side panel.
Currently, Toad for Oracle's formatter does not have "format-by-example" technology.
This technology is still has a distance to come into existence.
