Toad hangs when trying to estabilish a second connection.
Description
Toad for Oracle hangs when the attempt for the second connection is performed. It is possible to make 2 direct connection, but not 2 TNS connection. In SQL*Plus everything works OK.
Cause
The OCI client version is lower than the version of the database server.
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Use direct connection instead of TNS names records.
SOLUTION
Upgrade the OCI client to the same or higher version than is the version of the database server.
