EVPM is used by the Enterprise Vault Provisioning Module for several commands. Various issues can prevent EVPM from running successfully, as described below.
The errors which are likely to be seen are 'Cannot create privileged MAPI session'. The general steps to review for this type of error are:
1\ Make sure that the SMTP address of the System Mailbox in Enterprise Vault is the PRIMARY SMTP address of the system mailbox user from Active Directory. If it isn’t then browse again for the system mailbox on the Enterprise Vault archiving task and select it again.
2\ Reboot the Enterprise Vault server.
