Description
After upgrade to Version 11.5.1 the error "The SQL Server Agent service status cannot be determined because a registry key cannot be read due to lack of permission." have appeared.
Connection is established as sysadmin.
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
1. Acknowledge the alarms.
2. Backup the file QS_Services.sql in the folder C:\Program Files\Dell or Quest Software\Diagnostic Server\Agent\conf\Package\sqlserver_spotlight\2008 R2 SP1
3. Replace it with the provided attachment.
4. Restart Diagnostic Server.
5. Wait for a few minutes and see if the alarm appears again.
SOLUTION
Waiting for a fix in a future version of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise.
