Some Mailbox data may not appear in reports after running a Mailbox Security Gahtering. The blank fields may include the following:
The Exchange Mailbox Security gathering can blank out some mailbox fields including the NT Account of each mailbox. This can affect the IIS log processing in the MessageStats Report Pack for Windows Mobile which uses the NT Account to determine which Active Directory user is associated with an activity.
WORKAROUND:
To repopulate the data, run the MessageStats Exchange Mailboxes gathering after the Exchange Mailbox Security gathering has run. If the Exchange Mailboxes gathering has already run that day, you can select the task, right-click and select the Run Now with Override option.
STATUS:
Submitted to Development to be evaluated for inclusion in a future release of MessageStats
This defect has been found to impact OWA, and Windows Mobile Gatherings. The "IIS Log Processor" task relies on the "Account" field being populated to properly resolve user logons to a Mailbox in the Database.
