When trying to open Reports node in InTrust Manager the following error might occur:
Access to the path "C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.14322\Temporary ASP.NET Files\itknowledge\ea482bfa\b1173393" is denied
Nevertheless .NET Framework 2.0 is installed.
InTrust requires .NET Framework 1.1. .NET Framework is different form other applications in the way that the previous versions are not included to the next one. .NET Framework versions have different functionality.
If the version 1.1 is not installed, please, install it. If it is already there the access for temporary .NET files needs be granted to network service. Here is the instruction:
1. In Explorer browse to the location C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework and expand it
2. Expand the node for the version 1.1
3. Right-click on the folder Temporary ASP.NET Files and choose Properties
4. On Security tab press "Add..." button
5. Object type should be "Users, Groups, or Built-in security principals" in the search window type "Network" and choose "Network service" from the findings
6. Grant the full access to this account
