Can a different database be used for Performance Analysis than the instance being monitored? For example, can SQL Server be used as the repository for Performance Analysis for DB2?

Resolution
The repository for Performance Analysis (PA) for DB2 must be a DB2 instance, just as the repository for PA for SQL Server must be a SQL Server instance, and repository for PA for Oracle must be an Oracle instance.
