Description

"Unknown error code #-268500937" is displayed in the copy job results when copying to a NAS device.
Cause

There is a permissions issue with the target NAS device. If copying to a Windows operating system the error does not display.
Resolution

On the Synchronization page check “Don’t Copy Permissions (Copy data only)” and uncheck “Always copy permissions, even on skipped files”. Rerun the job.
If needed, permissions can be set on the target device with Security Explorer, once the data migration is complete.
