Desktop Authority (DA) does not make any schema or security changes in Active Directory. DA only makes changes to Active Directory when assigning SLogic.bat to the users as the logon script.
If the DA GPO has been deployed, the GPO is used only to install the DA Client files.
During replication, DA initiates a copy of files from the DA server to both the Sysvol\DomainName\Desktop Authority sub folders and Netlogon.
