Description
After installation of MessageStats onto a server the following error is thrown the first time the MessageStats console is opened:
Error 1904. Module C:\Programs Files (x86)\Dell\MessageStats\qmsSQLDatabaseRP.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147023782. Contact your support personnel.

Cause
This is caused because a registry key this DLL is dependent on is not evident on this system. -
Resolution
The missing key is:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\TypeLib\{37080402-C25B-439F-A4FB-A83A0BC285D7}\1.0\0\win32.
This key will point to the installation directory to QMSCORE.DLL. If this key is missing then the MessageStats console cannot launch.
They key is most likely missing because of a failed installation due to a Group Policy Object or other local environmental policy that imposed a restriction on the MessageStats installation program.
To resolve this issue ensure you have no restriction imposed on the MessageStats installation by any GPO or Antivirus software to ensure all necessary keys are created and the console can start successfully.
