How to uninstall Foglight for Virtualization Enterprise Edition (FVE) or Foglight for Storage Management (FSM)? -
Resolution
A full Foglight for Virtualization Enterprise Edition (FVE) or Foglight for Storage Management (FSM) install have following components:- Foglight Management Server installed on Windows or Linux serer
- Optional external backed repository database
- One or more Foglight Agent Manager (FGLAM) installed on Windows or Linux serer
Uninstall Foglight Agent Manager

Uninstall Foglight Management Server:
For Windows server:
- go to Control Panels | Programs and Features | Uninstall a program
- Select Foglight and click uninstall
- Follow the onscreen instructions
For Linux Server:- Login as user who own the foglight process
- Go to /bin directory and run ./fmsShutdown.sh
- Wait few min and run ps -eaf | grep -i foglight to verify all foglight process are stopped
- Go to /UninstallerData directory
- run uninstall program by ./Uninstall_Foglight -i console
- After uninstallation, you can safely delete the directory. It is recommended that you do so, since the uninstaller does not remove certain directories within .
