Data Compare sync script does not include TO_DATE Oracle function for date columns

A Data Compare was performed on Oracle and Sybase tables. The Data Compare sync script does not include TO_DATE Oracle function for the date columns. Hence, the script cannot be used to update data in Oracle tables.
Cause

ODBC connections were used.
Resolution

Make and use native connections to both Oracle and Sybase databases.
