"A distributed alarm operation has timed out. Some alarm data may be missing or incorrect" WARN messages reported in the logs of the Federation Master FMS.
Description

Messages like the following are reported in the ManagementServer logs of the Federation Master FMS:

2016-09-14 04:12:29.759 WARN [cwzjjjlmrv-63] com.quest.nitro.service.federation.DistributedAlarmService - A distributed alarm operation has timed out. Some alarm data may be missing or incorrect (timeout: 10000 (ms)).
Resolution

RESOLUTION: The alarm fetch timeout can be increased to 60 seconds on the Fed Master FMS using the steps below. If increasing the alarm fetch timeout doesn't help please open a case with support to investigate the issue further.

1). Add the following line under the "<properties>" section of the attributes-override.xml file ($FMS_HOME\config\attributes-override.xml) on the Federation Master FMS.

The last 3 lines in the attributes-override.xml file will appear as follows after the change is made.

2). Restart the Federation Master FMS.
