Running SQL using the scheduler in Toad for Data Analysis generates following error in the event log:
ORA-02005: implicit (-1) length not valid for this bind or define datatype
When the report is executed manually or through the run task, it executes without errors.
There is an issue when a user with write priviledges that has an Excel file open.
Toad for Data Analysis cannot open the file to write to it.
Some users may inadvertantely have write access to the output Excel files.
When users have Excel files open, Excel would lock the files.
Toad for Data Analysis would error trying to write to the locked file.
Remove the write priviledge for end users.
The user can open the file read only.
Toad for Data Analysis can write to the file if the file is open.
For this particular instance, one person who was using a file, had different security permissions which gave them write access.
