Could not specify directories to scan for mail files when perform locate data stores in Notes Migrator Console.
This could due to the incorrect configuration of the ini file settings in the Notes Migrator for Exchange application.
Please follow below step to rectify the issue:
1. Locate the localsettings.ini file(By default located at C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Quest Notes Migrator for Exchange)
2. Open localsettings.ini in notepad, locate below string:
[EnumDataWiz]
....
ENUMDATAWIZ:Notes:FindMailFilesBy=Scan
...
3. Ensure that FindMailFilesBy value is set to Scan
4. From the Notes Migrator Console, go to File | Edit Global Default Settings
5. Locate below string (if exist)
[Notes]
...
FindMailFilesBy=XXXX
...
6. Ensure that FindMailFilesBy value is set to Scan orremove this FindMailFilesBy=Scan value from [Notes] sections.
7. Save setting and close the Notes Migrator Console, and relaunch Notes Migrator Console
Notes: If the FindMailFilesBy=Scan does not exist in the step 5, step 6 can be skipped.
