After fresh installation of VMWare Agent it does not show any data in vFoglight and shows errors in Connector log saying https://host:8080/foglight-xml-adapter/tree-data with Error : Timeout The operation has timed out.
Reviewing the Connector logs we found that the timeout error is related to SSL.
Reconfigure the VirtualAgent.exe as suggested below:
VirtualAgent.exe /configure
5. It will show up the Dialog for configuration with all details.
6. Make sure the SSL is checked if they are using SSL connection and proper port is used(8443).
7. Save the settings and close it.
8. Restart both the collector and connector services.
9. Give a minute or so and you can then see data coming in VFoglight.
