Instructions on how to enable the biometrics feature for the KACE Go app.
Prerequisites:
If the above criteria is not met, the option to enable biometrics will not be available.
To enable the biometric function in the KACE GO app, please follow the steps below:
Android OS Devices
There are two ways to enable biometrics for the KACE GO app in Android OS.
Option1: Before Log in
1. Enter server name, user name and password.
2. Slide the bar to “Save credentials”. This will cause a prompt requesting "Passcode" to be entered.

3. Enter "Passcode" and slide bar to the right to “Enable Biometrics”. Passcode will be used as backup if the biometrics do not respond.

4. A prompt to re-enter passcode will be shown for verification.
5. Confirm identity with the biometric feature enabled and stored on the device.

Biometrics is now enabled for KACE GO.
Option 2: After Log in
1. Open the 6.2.x KACE GO App and log in
2. Go to the three dots icon to the right of the screen to open the menu
3. Choose “Settings”

4. Under settings options look for “Passcode” and select “Set passcode” if it is the first time enabling it or, “Reset Passcode” if it has been enabled before.
5. Enter desired passcode and slide bar to the right to “Enable Biometrics”. Passcode will be used as backup if the biometrics do not respond.

6. A prompt to re-enter passcode will be shown for verification.
7. Proceed to confirm identity with the biometric feature enabled and stored on the device.

Biometrics is now enabled for KACE GO.
iOS Devices
1. Open the 6.2.x KACE GO App and log in
2. Go to person icon to the right of the screen to open the menu

3. Choose “Settings”

4. Under settings options look for “Passcode” and select “Change Passcode”.

5. Enter desired passcode and slide bar to the right to “Enable Biometrics”. Passcode will be used as backup if the biometrics do not respond.

6. A prompt to re-enter passcode will be shown for verification.
7. A prompt requesting permission to allow the KACE GO app to use selected biometric (fingerprint, face, etc) will be also shown.

8. Biometrics is now confirmed to be enabled for KACE GO in iOS
