There is currently a known issue with Desktop Authority's kernel mode drivers and Windows 10 Anniversary Edition (version 1607). This issue potentially affects both our USB/Port Security and Remote Management (Expert Assist) client-side drivers.
Starting with the Anniversary Edition of Windows 10, Microsoft has begun to enforce new Windows 10 driver signing requirements. This enforcement is causing some customers to experience problems with kernel mode drivers. Specifically, the driver modules within our UBS/Port Security and Remote Management client components may be disabled or removed by the operating system if the Secure Boot option (UEFI Bios Setting) is enabled.
Status:
NOTE: Upgrading to Desktop Authority 10.1 will NOT result in any additional issues for existing customers not already experiencing the problem.
