Description
There may be a requirement to temporarily stop Archive Manager from archiving emails, for example, during a migration or replatforming of servers.

Resolution
Stopping both of these services on the Archive Manager server will prevent any further archiving of email:
- Archive Manager Dataload Service
- Archive Manager Exchange Store Manager Service
Set the services to disabled to prevent archiving of emails from occuring after a server reboot. To begin archiving mail again, start both services.
