Cause
The Diagnostic Console has been left opened for an extended period.

Resolution
Spotlight On Exchange Topology Viewer (SOETV)on Spotlight on Exchange (SoE) 5.x or the Spotlight on Messaging (SoM) 7.x Console (Topology tab)is the interface to be used and left open. When an alarm is raised, it will be visible in SOETV or SoM Topology, the next action is to investigate this with the Diagnostic Console. Afterwards, close the Diagnostic Console until it is needed again.
