Automation tasks can be run manually in the Automation Designer, but when trying to schedule the tasks they fail with the following messages:
"Password not specified. Command line execution requires a saved password on the login screen. An overridden connection using the -c command line option. Or a parameter file."
"Database connection failure: Error Operation aborted."
RESOLUTION 1
On the login screen, there's a saved passwords check box to store passwords when connecting. The Automation Designer uses the stored passwords to run scheduled tasks. Check the saved passwords box before closing Toad and scheduling the tasks.
