Recovery Manager for Exchange (RME) may fail opening edb upon registering storage when it opens edb on an OS other than the OS where edb was created.
Jet engine is trying to delete indexes when it opens edb on OS other than the OS where it was created.
STATUS
Bug defect TF00160903 had been raised for this issue to be fixed in a future release of Recovery Manager for Exchange.
WORKAROUND
Install RME on an OS same as the one where the edb file was created. Information on what OS it as created can be obtained by running 'eseutil /mh' against the edb file.
