Much of the Logical Disk data is not collected for RH ES 4 Linux hosts by the V5.7 UnixAgent.
Description

Much of the Logical Disk data is not being collected for Red Hat (RH) ES 4 hosts by the V5.7 UnixAgent.
- The Infrastructure Cartridge (IC) UnixAgent is not collecting the File System Available/Used space metrics for many of the file systems on RH ES 4 hosts. Data is collected for / and /boot logical disks.
- The bytes Read/Written and reads/writes metrics are not collected for the logical disks that have Available/Used space collected.
- The Read/Written and reads/writes data is collected for the logical disks that don't have Available/Used space collected.
Cause

The output of the "ls -lH <mountpoint>" command has an extra space in it. The UnixAgent uses the "ls -lH <mountpoint>" command to retrieve the logical disk information associated with mount points and the extra space is causing a problem.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
Use the DellUnixAgent to monitor the Red Hat Linux hosts.
