Working in Outlook Web Access the following behaviour for a mailbox that has had the Exchange Utility run against it to change the archive URL (from AM.domain.local to AM.domain.com) can be noticed:
when clicking on the “click here link” in the email body, this attempts to open up the archived item via the modified URL (AM.domain.com) and that works fine.
However, when clicking on the Attachments.htm attachment for the archived attachment, it opens a page with links to the archived items. Those links point to the original server URL (AM.domain.local).
STATUS
This has been identified as defect. Defect ID TF00295002 has been raised for this issue to be fixed in a future release of Archive Manager.
WORKAROUND
Use the Exchange Utility to unstrip the mailboxes and then allow the Exchange Store Manager service to restub the messages with the new URL. The new URL value will have to be amended in the AM Configuration Editor (the 'AfterMail URL' config key).
