How can Spotlight on Messaging monitor a Database Availability Group (DAG)?
Is there a way to receive an alert when a failover event has taken place? If a DAG is used and one database fails over to another server the Internal Message Delivery Test still is successful and only by checking the DeliveryDetails counter one can tell the location of the database. Is it possible to make it alert that the database is now hosted somewhere else?
Configure a separate Storage Health Test to monitor the status to be only “mounted” on the active copy server.
Currently the default value is “mounted” (for active copy) or “healthy” (for passive copy).
