Recovery Manager for Exchange (RME) Archive Manager (AM) edition should give the ability to see all Archive Manager mailboxes and therefore Search All emails when user connects with an account other than the default AM admin account having the Search All emails right.
Currently if a user launches RME AM edition and connects to an AM instance using their own credentials they can only see the mailboxes which have been explicitly assigned to them in AM. This is fine. However in AM if that user has the 'Search All emails' right (which all Administrators do by default) they can search all email in AM. This behaviour is not reflected in RME AM edition.
Only the default admin account can search all emails or one can search all emails if all mailboxes have been assigned to that user - this is not though ideal because:
a. it would require this extra admin step of assigning all mailboxes to that user
b. in large environments with more than 10,000 mailboxes it will break the AM UI in attempting to assign all mailboxes to a user.
WORKAROUND
Use the default Archive Manager Admin account or assign all AM mailboxes to another account as mentioned in the Problem Description above

Enhancement Request TF00231387 has been created for this functionality to be added in a future release of Recovery Manager for Exchange.
