Error running trial version, "Only trial keys may be entered for this version" -
Description
A new trial version of SQL Navigator is installed on a machine that had or currently has a previous version of SQL Navigator for Oracle Navigator. Running the new version returns the error message:
"Only trial keys may be entered for this version". -
Cause
Both SQL Navigator versions refer to the same license key file.

Resolution
If the commercial version needs to be used, uninstall the trial version.
Download and install the current commercial version.
The current commercial version can be downloaded at the Support Portal. -
Additional Information
If the trial version is intended to be used, uninstall the previous version. Locate QSAuthorize*.key file in system and rename this file. This file may be a hidden file, hence, ensure to apply search for all folders and files.
