When trying to import a license to Notes Migrator for Sharepoint, the following error is received:
This license is not valid for use on servername. Please supply a valid license or contact Quest Software
This may be caused by an incorrect hostname. The hostname must be in the format of the NetBIOS name only. It cannot be in the form of a FQDN.
Proper hostnames can be added by logging onto
http://support.quest.com/LicenseRedir.asp?licenseNumber=<number>
(Where <number> needs to be replaced with the number for the license as XXX-XXXXXX as it appears in the asc file.Open license file with notepad to confirm)
If this is the first time the customer information needs to be entered after which the hostnames (NetBIOS name of the servers which need the NMSP component to be installed)can be added and once the hostname has been added and submitted a new license file will be emailed to the emailed that is registered to the License number.
