When using a load balancer to devide the requests between two Foglight Management Server (FMS), which host name should a SSL certificate contain? Should it contain the host name of the load balancer machine or the host names of the two Foglight server?
The browser validates the certificate against the host name in the URL. The host name which appears in the FMS URL, that's the name for which the certificate needs to be generated (in this case it is load balancer machine).
Please test it with self-signed certificates first to see how it works in your setup before applying for CA certificates.
