Archive Manager supports a configuration item that allows the standard message on a stub to be changed from the default of:
This message has been archived, please click [here] to view the message.
1. Open the Archive Manager Configuration Editor from the Start Menu.
2. Click on General Items
3. Click "Add Item"
4. Enter the following property name and click OK:
Stub Display Message
5. Locate the property name of Stub Display Message and in the right hand column enter the text that you wish to be displayed using square brackets around the part that will contain the link e.g.
This is an archived message please click this [HERE] to open in your browser.
6. Click "Save Changes" and close the Configuration Editor
7. Restart the Archive Exchange Store Manager Service.
The new message will only take affect on newly stripped/stubbed mail items. To update the message on currently existing stubbed items they will need to be reconstructed back to the Exchange mailbox as described in SOL21243 using workaround 1 or 3.
There should not be more than 1 set of [] in the message, the [] will be the hyperlink to the message in the Archive Manager website.
This currently does not work for any other languages except the English Outlook Form.
