Error: Unable to prune log directory (4258653)

The following errors can be logged by Archive Manager Exchange Store Manager Service or Archive Manager Data Loader Services:

Exception Type: System.IO.IOException
Exception Message: The directory is not empty.

Where XXX is ESM when the error logged byArchive Manager Exchange Store Manager Service and XXX is DL when logged by Archive Data Loader server

The Archive Manager Exchange Store Manager Service and Archive Manager Data Loader Services keep the seven days log in corresponding folder.

Both services try to delete older folders on regular basis and fail to do so if the content of this folders has been modified.

RESOLUTION:

Browse to the path logged in error and delete the folder manually
