Error Opening Spotlight on Messaging Management Console: "Windows Error Reporting Error MMC.exe f (4258295)

When Opening the Spotlight On Messaging Managment Console a Windows Error Reporting Message appears indicating that MMC.exe is faulting In Module MMC.exe. The Windows Application event log displays Event ID 1000 with a source of "Microsoft Management Console"

This May be caused by corrupt MMC cache files.

WorkAround:

1. Open the start menu and click "Run"
2. Type "MMC" and click OK
3. In the file Menu select "Add/Remove Snap-in"
4. Add the "Quest Spotlight On Messaging" snap-in and click OK
5. Click the File Menu and select "Options"
6. On the "Disk Cleanup" tab click the "Delete Files" button.
7. Exit MMC, and Open the Quest MessageStats Console from the start menu or desktop Icons.
