When mapping several credentials to connect to one device, be it a NAS, file server, etc, there is inconsistent behavior.
You may notice that drive letters are not showing up, or will show up as already mapped.
Windows events 1219 may be observed in the Windows Event log.
This is due to how Windows handles security on mapped drives and is by design.
There is no suitable workaround that doesn't compromise security.
One customer had success by adding entries into the Windows hosts file to dupe the machine into thinking he was connecting to several different machines instead of the one.
