WORKAROUND:
Replace the 64-bitSQLLitespeed executable with the 32-bit version.
1. Take the SQLLitespeed32.exe from a server running the 32-bit application or request from Quest Support. This is located under the following path:
..\Program Files\Quest Software\LiteSpeed SQL Server\Engine
2. Copy the file into the 64-bit server under the same path.
3. Rename the original SQLLitespeed.exe (e.g. SQLLitespeed.exe.old)
4. Rename the newly copied SQLLitespeed32.exe to SQLLitespeed.exe

What is the difference between the 32 and 64 bit executables?
The primary reason for having a 64-bit version of an application is to take advantage of higher memory limits (beyond the default 32-bit limitation of 2GB) or to interface more seamlessly with other products or libraries within a system. The LiteSpeed product should not exhibit any functional behavior differences between the 32-bit version and 64-bit version. The source code baseline is the same for both compilations of the product. In addition, the 32-bit version will run on 64-bit platforms.
