"Error Check Logs" is reported in the first field of the tables in the "ESX Hosts Performance by Service" report and the "ESX Summary" report. Previously the reports were generating correctly. We restarted the FMS (Foglight Management Server) but the problem continues.
The following error message is reported in the Management server log:

A bug (WCF-9386) is occurring when a Foglight Management server is started and the first reference to a Custom Query is in a script. When the Reports dashboard is hit, a script makes this call: functionHelper.invokeQuery("customQuery:nitrogen.get-report-templates"). This leads to WCF (Web Component Framework) trying to load the WCF-provided custom queries and not finding any. Then on a subsequent attempt to use a WCF-provided custom query, the custom query is not found and the reported exception happens.
WORKAROUND:
The workaround is to call the Custom Query from something other than a script when the FMS is first started.
The following steps will workaround the issue:
___________________________________________
1). Restart the FMS.
2). Navigate to "Configuration | Definitions | Management Server | Diagnostic | Performance". See the attached screen shot (ui_query_time_table.pdf)
3). Scroll-down to view "UI Query Time Table" and click on the entry.

STATUS: Waiting for fix in a future release of Foglight.
We expect Defect ID WCF-9386 to be addressed in vFoglight 6.6 and Foglight V5.6.2.
