Trying to install SOM on Windows 2008 and it is saying IIS is not installed -
Description
While trying to install Spotlight on Messaging on a Windows 2008 Server, the installer is saying that IIS is not installed even though IIS is installed.

Cause
The Spotlight on Messaging installer is looking for all of the following IIS components to be installed:
Web Server (IIS) [Web-Server]
Application Development [Web-App-Dev]
ASP [Web-ASP]
ASP.NET [Web-Asp-Net]
Server Side Includes [Web-Includes]
Security [Web-Security]
Windows Authentication [Web-Windows-Auth]
IIS 6 Metabase Compatibility [Web-Metabase]
IIS 6 WMI Compatibility [Web-WMI]
IIS 6 Scripting Tools [Web-Lgcy-Scripting] -
Resolution
On the Windows 2008 Server where you are installing Spotlight on Messaging, open a Windows Powershell Command Window and run the following command:
servermanagercmd -i web-server web-app-dev web-asp web-asp-net web-includes web-windows-auth web-metabase web-wmi web-lgcy-scripting
This will install the required IIS components for SOM.
