Issues with sending large attachments. -
Description
"Error transferring to 192.168.176.65; SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error 552 5.3.4 Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size" is being returned when attempting to send a large email attachment even when the size specified in the Coexistence Manager for Notes (CMN) under "Advanced Message Settings" is set to a value large than the attachment being sent under "Maximum Allowable Message Size".

Cause
By default when you create a new Exchange receive connector the Maximum Message Size is set to 10MB. To verify this run Get-Receiveconnector | fl in the Exchange Power Shell.
There is also a Domino imposed limit.

Resolution
Increase the Maximum Message Size to a value to suit the environment.
