Within the Configure File Access Audit manager extention when deploying the InTrust plug-in for File Access you may see the following error on the service deployment screen under the Operation Result.
"5/5/2008 4:23:23:PM: Unable to update configuration: The system cannot find the file specified. Could not apply configuration settings."
This message indicates the service was not installed correctly even though it behaves normally (Stop, Start and Configure).
There may also be an event generated on the remote machine with the following information:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Quest File Access Audit Source
Event Category: None
Event ID: 3
Date: 5/2/2008
Time: 10:48:59 AM
User: N/A
Computer: XXXXXXX
Description: Failed to read configuration: The system cannot find the file specified.
This can be caused by a Group Policy/3rd Party software that is setup to ensure all drivers installed on the target machine are certified/signed.
Install the InTrust plug-in for File Access manually on the target machine to ensure you can agree to any software pop-up messages confirming the service is being installed intentionally.
